The Cinema Association (hereinafter referred to as the “Association”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. “Affiliates” refers to any person who manages, is managed by, or is under common management with the Association.

This Privacy Policy (together with the Terms and Conditions governing the use of the website located at the domain name www.saudifilmfestival.org and its URL (the “Website”)) sets out the basis on which any personal data collected from you, or that you provide to the Association, will be processed. Please read the information below carefully to understand the Association’s policies regarding the information and data it collects from you and how it will be handled.

1. Information Collected From You

  1. The Association may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information you provide when filling out a form on the Website to submit it to the Association. The Association may also request specific information when you report a problem with the Website.

  • Details of your visits to the Website, including but not limited to web traffic data and location data.

  • Records of correspondence you send to the Association via the Website, as well as other communication data and resources you access.

  • Any information, materials, or data you provide to the Association through the Website.

  1. If you are simply browsing the Website, the Association does not retain data that identifies you personally. However, the Association may collect information about your computer, including (where available) your IP address, operating system, and browser type, for system administration purposes. This information does not identify individuals.

  2. For the same purpose, the Association may obtain information regarding your general use of the Internet by using cookies stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your hard drive. They help the Association improve the Website and enable it to:

    • Estimate the number of users and usage patterns;

    • Store information about your preferences, allowing the Website to be tailored to your individual interests;

    • Speed up searches;

    • Recognize you when you return to the Website.

    • In order to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Association, its clients, partners, or any other concerned third party, including but not limited to exchanging information with other companies or organizations;

    • In accordance with the Website’s Terms and Conditions; or

    • For fraud protection and credit risk reduction purposes.

3. Your Rights

From time to time, the Website may contain links to third-party websites. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites may have their own privacy policies and that the Association does not accept any responsibility or liability for those policies. Please review these policies before providing any personal information on such websites.
